Michael Shea: Program Manager
Mr. Shea currently serves as a program coordinator for Sequestered Solutions Alaska, LLC.
Previously, he spent fifteen years as a contractor in the Alaskan oil production industries. He managed the 2002 EOA Well Pad Microwave Radio Upgrade and Installation Project, a multi-million dollar project involving the upgrade and/or replacement of microwave radio systems at fifteen separate Well Pad and Production Facilities in Prudhoe Bay's eastern operating area. He also managed the 2001 Northstar Island Telecommunication Systems Installation Project, a multi-million dollar project involving the installation of telecommunication systems for the new Northstar Island Production Facilities, located on a man-made island built in the Artic Ocean several miles off the coast of Alaska near Prudhoe Bay. Further, he managed a second microwave radio system "rush" installation at the Northstar Island's Facilities, allowing British Petroleum to meet a State of Alaska production permit requirement for 100% continual communication connectivity with a state-mandated Leak Detection Database System. The successful delivery on-time and on-budget of the two North Star Island Projects assisted BP to make "First Oil" on schedule, saving the corporation potentially millions of dollars in lost revenues.
